10,000 years of Dorchester: a guided tour through the archaeology and history of the village.

David Wilkinson, Inspector of Ancient Monuments with Historic England, will lead you on a walk back through time. How did this unique landscape evolve, why did people come here and how did they live? From the ice ages to the Iron Age, there is so much to discover.

This 90 minute tour will require walking some distance on uneven ground and is not suitable for wheelchairs (sorry).  Please wear appropriate footwear.
