Bird song is at its best in May, so join local naturalist Richard Tilley for an evening guided amble around Dorchester’s three water meadows, courtesy of the Hurst Water Meadow Trust. Relax into a gentle walk listening to the birds sing their final songs of the day and pick up tips on how to identify birds by their calls.

If you can get up early in the morning you might like to try the Dawn Chorus Walk!

Walk starts at the Hurst Water Meadow bridge: what3words ///dissolve.redefined.inflation or grid reference SU5813294311

Please dress warmly.  Not suitable for dogs unless reliably quiet and well behaved.

One and a half to two hours walk with two stiles to cross.
