Welcome to Dorchester Festival Food and Gift Festival! We welcome applications for 2019 using the form below.
This Food and Gift Festival is held in the shadow of Dorchester Abbey – a stunning location which attracts many international visitors in its own right. It is mainly under cover in a large smart marquee with some space for external food outlets.
We expect to get about 2,000 people through the Food marquee over the 2 days. Because this is part of a wider Festival, there will be great footfall from events such as Out of the Blue, a schools concert, our very popular scarecrow trail and, of course, the cookery demos and workshops that are being held nearby. We plan to have live bands performing on an outside stage throughout the weekend.

This lovely location is only accessible through a curved fenced passage at the rear and the main Abbey Lych Gate from the High St.
You cannot access this site with anything larger than a standard sized transit van!
There are both height restrictions (the Lych gate) and wheel base restrictions (the curved fence)
There are, however, areas to park nearby from which you could unload if you brought a trolley. Please contact us to discuss!
Most stalls will be housed within the Main Festival marquee, but there is outside space available – this will require you to bring your own gazebo/raincover
If you cancel your stall after the 1st April there will be no refund of your fee.
