A unique opportunity to hear from the world famous multi award winning Industrial Light and Magic on how special effects are created and who creates them with lots of film showreels to illustrate!  Emmy-nominated Scott Pritchard is a VTX Supervisor who has worked on many ILM features and now supervises Star Wars: Andor.  The coolest event at the Festival!
What does a VFX team look like, and how do they work together to produce the finished result?
What’s the process for producing VFX with the filmmakers?  Scott will use Star Wars: Andor in particular to look at the key environments created for the show, and break down how his team used a variety of techniques to craft each unique location.

Scott Pritchard is an Emmy-nominated VFX Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic. He was one of the first artists to join ILM’s new London studio in 2014 for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Since then he has worked on a number of features including Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens; Avengers: Infinity War; and Avengers: Engame. In 2019 he joined the ILM TV department as VFX Supervisor for Brave New World, and most recently supervised ILM’s work on series 1 of Star Wars: Andor.
