Festival Food & Gift Fair – 9th & 10th May
Whether you’re looking for locally sourced food, a special gift or unique craft decorations for your home, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Dorchester Food & Gift Fair makes a perfect day out for all the family.
We are open Saturday 9th May 10am-5pm & Sunday 10th May 12noon-5pm
This event, set in the stunning location of the Abbey cloister garden, will include all our popular exhibitors in huge marquee and a street food and refreshments area – the perfect place to sit down for a rest and enjoy a coffee or lunch. We even have an outside stage with live bands to keep you entertained for the whole day!
We encourage a £1 donation on entry to the exhibitor tent to shop at the amazing stalls.
Why not make a day of it and go to a cookery demonstration or two held in beautiful Dorchester house kitchens just a short walk from the Abbey. Finish off with a good street food lunch and a bit of foodie shopping – perfect!
If you would like to bring a stall to the Fair do contact us! We’d love to hear from you. Take a look here for more info
Live Music on the Cloister Stage
We are thrilled to present an exciting programme of local talented musicians performing at the outdoor Cloister stage. An eclectic mix of bands to accompany the Food & Gift Fair Weekend.
Outside stage lineup includes:

The Rock Choir – The UKs original, award winning local, contemporary choir
The Greenway Project – a local 5 piece rock covers band playing Eagles, Van the Man, The Undertones, Arctic Monkeys and … of course … a bit of Bryan Adams.
Merlin Bateman-Paris – guitar and harmonica songs inspired by folk, gypsy jazz, and the blues
Jody Prewett – folk ballads that draw upon John Martyn, James Taylor and Sufjan Stevens
Only the Brave – a six piece local band playing mainly self-penned songs of longing and dog-legged lives
